Gavial acquired the Nuclear Electronics Division (NED) in the first quarter of 2005. NED compliments the Gavial organization with its industry leading manufacturing and assembly capabilities.

Gavial NED provides manufacturing capabilities to customers in the nuclear energy industry producing original equipment per customer design specifications as well as providing design modifications to nuclear power plants located across the USA, Europe, and Asia.

Located at 1772 Little Orchard Street in San Jose, Ca., NED offers the flexibility, responsiveness and service levels of a regional Electro Mechanical Systems company while maintaining the technical, purchasing, and financial strength of an out-sourcing provider.

Integrated Fabrication best describes NED’s abilities. NED’s manufacturing capabilities include the following:

•		Circuit card assemblies (thru-hole and Surface Mount Technology)

•		Electronic chassis assemblies

•		Electronic control panels

•		Custom cable assemblies / wire harnesses

Special skills:

•		Hand soldering

•		Wire wrap

•		Electronic and electro-mechanical (assembly/wiring)

•		Testing
