	Gavial has been providing quality fabrication service to our customers since 1981. Gavial started out as a division of the General Electric Company's Reentry & Environmental Systems Division, in Philadelphia, PA. Since being purchased by key managers in 1981, Gavial has continued to serve General Electric, and other demanding customers with designs, fabrications, assembly, testing, and installations. In August 1995, the company was purchased by the current ownership, which changed the name to Gavial Engineering & Manufacturing, Inc., to reflect the increasing capability of the Company.




	Gavial has a national presence supported by five key business units and affiliates with our company headquarters in Santa Maria, California. The company and its affiliates employ more than 135 people. The vision of Gavial is to be an industry leader in integrated design, fabrication, assembly, testing, and installations. This vision is supported by our values that are shared by all our employees including commitment, integrity, and innovation.
